Job Responsibilities

The Software Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of software projects within the organization. Their primary mission is to align technology initiatives and business objectives, optimize project workflows, and drive innovation while maintaining compliance with industry standards. By effectively managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations, they contribute to the company&digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Principle Accountabilities:

The Software Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating IT projects across the household business of De’Longhi Group, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards. They oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, coordinating the activities of internal developers and external suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and monitor IT projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Orchestrate internal development teams and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication between parties.
  • Define technical and functional project requirements, collaborating with business stakeholders and IT Functional Analysts
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proposing strategic solutions.
  • Ensure software quality through periodic testing and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and data protection standards.
  • Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to optimize development processes.
  • Monitor project performance and produce detailed reports while providing continuous feedbacks to the business project stakeholders
  • Manage technical and operational documentation related to projects.

Job Profile

Qualifications, Knowledges:

  • Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in managing complex software projects.
  • Have a project management methodologies certification (PMI, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, …)
  • In-depth knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.). “Wrike” knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with software technologies and programming languages (Java, Python, .NET).
  • It is an asset having had experience in projects involving SAP (multiple modules), IoT, e-commerce, APP developments or any digital innovative project based on intensive IT technologies.
