Job Description

We are seeking a skilled C/C++ Software Developer to join a high-impact project with the largest manufacturer of lithography machines in the Netherlands. This role offers the chance to work on pioneering technology in the semiconductor industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Embedded Software Development: Design and develop software for chip-making equipment that meets stringent criteria for nanometer accuracy, high quality, and performance. Exposure to hardware interfaces
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with functional experts (Mechatronic Engineers)
  • Scrum Team Collaboration: Work in a Scrum-based team with four other talented and multicultural software developers who emphasize Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Focus on OOD design, refactoring, performance metrics, and testing, primarily in an Embedded Linux environment. Design and build reliable, clean C and C++ code
  • Involved in systems design using UML. You and your team will build new drivers from the scratch, starting with Software Impact Analysis and come up with correct design decisions and then start with implementations using C/C++.
  • Test-Driven Development: Follow principles of code design for testability, with a focus on low cyclomatic complexity. Write and review test specification documents to ensure high test coverage.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience in C/C++ software development.
  • Embedded Software Development experience with hardware interfaces in Linux environment
  • Knowledge of TDD and principles of designing for testability is a plus. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (gtest, gmock), automation testing and code quality tools (SonarQube).
  • Experience with systems design (UML Diagrams & Relationships).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Mechatronic Engineers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural team.
