Dotnet Developer

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET + Azure Developer with over 12 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 4 years in .NET and SQL development. You will play a crucial role in a cross-functional Agile team working on secure and scalable applications in the Banking/Finance Back Office environment.

You will be responsible for driving best practices in software development, CI/CD automation, Azure implementation, and ensuring high security and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

General:

• 12+ years of overall software development experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with .NET and SQL.
• At least 4 years of experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong experience in code management, working within small development squads (typically 3 developers).
• Proven experience in the Banking/Finance Back Office domain.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Azure Stack:

• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, YAML, Bicep scripting).
• Familiarity with IaaS and PaaS services.
• Azure App Services, Azure Functions.
• Key Vault and Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
• Azure CLI, Azure Data Factory (ADF).

.NET Stack:

• ASP.NET Core / .NET 8.
• Web APIs with Swagger, RESTful services.
• Entity Framework.
• OAuth & Azure App Registrations.
• Git-based development workflows.
• Unit testing, TDD, and mocking frameworks.
• BDD with Cucumber or similar tools.

Security & Quality Focus:

• Passionate about security: vulnerability management, compliance within Azure.
• Advocate for quality practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience guiding others in implementing TDD and improving software quality.
• Continuously improve CI/CD processes and ensure integration into team practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Deep understanding of Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong stakeholder communication, including with Product Owners.
• Experience in driving discussions around architectural improvements and technical debt resolution.
