About the Role

We're working with a leading international organization that operates across life sciences, food, and manufacturing sectors, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions through a tightly integrated value chain. We are currently seeking an IT Applications Manager to lead the management and strategic development of enterprise applications across multiple geographies. This is a key leadership role overseeing a globally distributed team, managing critical business applications—including ERP systems—and ensuring that IT solutions align with business goals and operate efficiently, securely, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team managing enterprise and business applications
• Oversee application lifecycle management, including implementation, support, and upgrades of core systems
• Partner with enterprise architecture and business stakeholders to align application decisions with current and future business needs
• Support digital transformation initiatives, particularly around cloud adoption, SaaS integration, and simplification of complex application landscapes
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance aligns with contractual agreements
• Monitor and report on key KPIs/SLAs related to application performance and team objectives
• Plan and execute application-related projects in collaboration with the IT Project Management Office
• Ensure security and compliance standards are maintained in collaboration with the Information Security team
• Manage the applications budget in line with business expectations
• Stay informed on new technologies and propose innovations that add business value

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT leadership and applications management
• Strong background in enterprise applications and ERP systems
• Proven experience leading multi-country teams
• Solid understanding of application integration and hybrid cloud solutions
• Familiarity with digital transformation projects, including on-premise to SaaS/cloud migrations
• Skilled in project management methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience in regulated industries, preferably life sciences
• Exposure to M&A environments and post-acquisition systems integration
