Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and the Node.js runtime
Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Koa, or NestJS
Proficient understanding of GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time applications
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for basic integrations
Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture, its quirks and workarounds
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
Understanding accessibility and security compliance, security best practices in Node.js applications

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade, EJS)
Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred
