As the Senior Product Manager for Manufacturing you are responsible for the direction and effective execution of a suite of products. Your current portfolio of software at The Access Group includes: Factory Master (MRP), Orchestrate (Production Planning), Delta (Warehouse Management), and Access Supply Chain (Supply Chain).
Your role is to help define the vision, drive competitive intelligence, define and execute roadmaps whilst ensuring alignment to commercial goals. This role requires strong industry knowledge, customer empathy, and the ability to drive innovation for the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that help enhance our customers businesses.
This role is varied in content and individuals successful in this role will think and plan strategically as well as execute tactically. To succeed in this role, you must relish working with passion at pace.
Day-to-day, you will:
• You will talk and collaborate with customers regularly defining and seeking feedback on roadmaps as well as listening and planning to resolve issues and enhancements to current products.
• You will work with sales, support, marketing, customer success teams, engineering and technology as key stakeholders who input into your roadmap while articulating customer value propositions.
• You will work very closely with engineering and technology leadership around delivery dates and estimates, while considering tech debt and technology initiatives to coordinate that work into your roadmaps e.g. performance and availability, quality, cloud cost, cyber / security.
• You will be aware of industry, technology and competitive moves to help define your strategy.
• You are responsible for the entire product lifecycle of your products including go-to-market strategies as well as sunsetting of products.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Demonstratable experience working in product and/or consultancy
• Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of P&L’s, budget setting and tracking, with ability to create sound business cases.
