About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of mobile payment technologies? Join our client as an iOS Mobile Software Engineer, where you will lead the design and implementation of innovative payment features tailored to diverse merchant needs across regions and industries.

In this role, you’ll architect and deliver end-to-end solutions—from our cutting-edge iOS SDKs and consumer applications to the robust Java/Kotlin backend microservices powering them. Collaborate closely with mission-driven teams in Poznan and Munich, serving as a technical expert, mentor, and trusted advisor.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical design & development of complex iOS SDKs and apps with seamless backend integration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert advising internal teams and external clients on iOS solutions that meet evolving business requirements.
• Own full lifecycle delivery—planning, coding, testing, deployment, and QA—working cross-functionally with backend and product teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within our iOS community.
• Drive process improvements in CI/CD, automated testing, and release management to enhance our iOS development workflow.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and designers to build user-centric, impactful mobile experiences.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field OR 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience focusing on iOS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years professional iOS development experience delivering high-quality apps and/or SDKs.
• Deep expertise in Swift; Objective-C experience is a plus.
• Strong experience integrating iOS apps with backend APIs and microservices.
• Proficient with Swift Package Manager (SPM) for dependency management and framework distribution.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture) and clean code principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY).
• Experience developing reusable mobile frameworks for internal or external use.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
• Growth mindset and openness to learning new technologies, including possible backend or Android development.
