Talent Aquisition Specialist and HR - 6 month contract

We are currently partnered with an established organisation within the renewable energy sector who are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong recruitment background to join their team in Dubai. With operations spanning in areas across the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Europe, this is a hands-on opportunity to lead end to end recruitment efforts while also supporting broader HR initiatives within the Southeast Europe region during quieter periods of hiring.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from both agency/headhunting and in-house recruitment environments, and ideally will have a strong understanding of the Southeast European talent market. This role offers long-term potential and an opportunity to contribute to the company's ongoing growth and regional HR strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions, including the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Europe, supporting the company's project delivery, operations, and corporate teams.
  • Manage recruitment for a range of roles including:
    • Corporate functions (finance managers, accountants, office assistants)
    • Project delivery roles (project engineers, ESG specialists, development managers) in emerging markets
  • Act as the main point of contact for all recruitment matters, managing relationships with external recruiters, internal stakeholders, and using ATS systems.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, strategies, and processes.
  • Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
  • Provide regular reporting on recruitment metrics, budgets, and performance against hiring plans.
  • Support wider HR activities as needed.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure alignment with the business's growth strategy and people plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in recruitment, ideally combining agency/headhunter and in-house backgrounds.
  • Previous experience recruiting within or for Southeast Europe is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment across multiple regions and working with diverse, senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting for finance, engineering, ESG, and corporate support functions within emerging markets.
  • Comfortable managing recruitment processes independently, including ATS usage, agency relationships, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting HR beyond recruitment is a plus, particularly across multiple payrolls and cultural landscapes.
  • Strong organisational skills, proactive mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy, infrastructure, or investment sectors would be advantageous.
  • Based in Dubai, with flexibility to support recruitment across multiple time zones.
