Head of AI & Data Analytics

Our client is seeking a Head of Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics to own the vision, strategy, and execution of their data and AI agenda. As part of the senior leadership team, you will transform how we capture, govern, and apply data- building modern platforms, embedding robust governance, and scaling AI‑driven innovation that delivers measurable business value across every business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive a company wide data & AI strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Establish adoption plans for analytics, automation, and intelligence across customer experiences, internal capabilities, and new digital offerings.
• Centralise data management and build scalable, cost‑efficient cloud data platforms for analytics and reporting.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of all data and AI systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, reliability, and resilience.
• Design and execute the enterprise AI strategy to improve decision‑making, productivity, and revenue growth.
• Champion experimental pilots and scalable AI/ML solutions; evaluate emerging tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot) and external partnerships to accelerate impact.
• Act as the connector between technical teams and non‑technical executives, fostering shared ownership of data‑driven outcomes.
• Own P&L‑level accountability for data‑platform investments; manage budgets, funding cycles, and CapEx / OpEx cases.
• Monitor KPIs, deliver executive‑ready insights, and maintain transparent performance reviews with board‑level stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles driving data and AI transformations.
• Proven success designing and scaling modern cloud data platforms and AI/ML products that generate measurable revenue uplift or cost savings.
• Hands‑on familiarity with modern tooling such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and leading data‑engineering, MLOps, and automation frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of global data legislation (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), security standards, and ethical‑AI guidelines.
