Title: Network Engineer

100% Remote

Perm or Contract: CTH – 4.5 months

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Voice Engineer to join our remote team on a contract-to-hire basis, with the intention of transitioning into a full-time role. This position is critical in maintaining and enhancing our network and voice infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation, project delivery, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage network systems with a focus on Cisco Meraki platforms
• Develop and integrate automation solutions using APIs and scripting languages (Python preferred)
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and manage change control processes
• Create and maintain technical design documentation and project plans
• Provide Tier 3 operational support as needed (approx. 30% of role)
• Drive continuous improvements and automation across a network spanning 170+ offices
• This role is primarily project-based (70%) with some operational responsibilities (30%)

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki
• API integration and Python (or similar scripting language)
• Strong project management and change control capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce detailed technical design documents

Nice-to-Haves:

• VoIP engineer experience
• Cisco Meraki certifications
• Experience working in a distributed environment with a high degree of automation
