Key Responsibilities:

Network Installation & Configuration:

• Deploy and maintain LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN networks
• Install and configure Cisco & Fortinet networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
• Manage ISP and firewall connections

Network Maintenance & Security:

• Monitor network performance and conduct regular maintenance (patches, upgrades, security configurations)
• Ensure system availability, reliability, and capacity planning
• Implement and manage network security policies to protect infrastructure

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Diagnose and resolve network outages and connectivity issues
• Collaborate on network optimizations
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain network configurations and operational procedures
• Provide updates on network performance and security status
• Mentor IT staff and support business-aligned systems

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field / or appropriate level of commercial experience
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Fortinet/Cisco)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, subnetting
• Familiarity with SSL/IPSec, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts and troubleshooting approaches

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of OSPF, BGP, and other routing protocols
• Background in systems administration (basic security protocols, patching, monitoring)
