Network Administrator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Network Administrator.

Requirements

• Associate's (2-year) degree in a technical field or related professional certification
• Proven experience managing a large and complex network
• Windows Active Directory and Group Policy administration experience
• Experience supporting and managing Cisco switches and routers
• Experience managing enterprise Firewalls and Security Appliances. Experience with Check Point appliances a plus
• Working knowledge of network topologies and protocols; TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, etc.
• Windows and Linux server administration experience
• Experience building and managing VPNs and remote connections
• VoIP phone system administration experience
• Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows and Macintosh based computers and related equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Skilled in problem analysis with proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds infrequently
• Ability to kneel and crouch
• Fine motor skills - ability to pick up, carry, and manipulate small objects, such as small screws
• Ability to be onsite/on call for emergencies
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
