Quantitative Crypto Trader / Researcher

Venture Search is currently working with a Global Crypto Native Market Making and Prop Trading firm, currently going through a rapid phase of growth after significant investment, coupled with market leading performance. The group are hiring across Research and Trading in their London and Paris offices initially, with opportunity for exceptional candidates to work remotely or from their North American offices.

Traders will have access to top tier technology infrastructure and a healthy team of Engineers to help maximise opportunity in the market, while Quant Researchers will be given freedom to source for unique alpha in the market to support revenue generation.

The firm is entirely dedicated to Digital Asset trading and given now the maturity of the market, are looking only for candidates with a demonstrable track record within the asset class.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimise quantitative trading strategies across various cryptocurrency markets.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis in the cryptocurrency space.
• Collaboration with researchers and developers to improve and maintain high-performance trading systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 2 -5 years of relevant experience within high frequency trading/research within the Crypto space.
• A strong track record including a 3+ Sharpe ratio
• A strong academic background (Bachelor's + Master's/PhD in a relevant field).
