Queensland GovernmentHR Support Officer
The role of the Human Resources Support Officer is to coordinate, implement and monitor human resource activities, processes and systems and provide a high level of administrative support for the South West Region (Youth Justice).

Key Responsibilities

As HR Support Officer, you will specifically:

  • Coordinate and monitor payroll and recruitment processing in liaison with the Managers within the Region,
  • Coordinate and monitor the center's human resource computerized records systems and assist the Manager, Human Resources in preparing reports and advice for other managers.
  • Provide advice to, and work collaboratively with, the Managers and Regional Director on operational and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and monitor recruitment activities within the region with the relevant Managers and the Regional Director.
  • Liaise as required with operational workgroups on workforce planning issues, matters of payroll, Workcover and other administrative functions.
  • Provide supervision and training to human resource administrative and support staff in applicable human resource systems.
  • Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to staff and clients.
