Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team and help create scalable, efficient applications that drive innovation.

You will work alongside a dynamic group of developers and stakeholders, delivering modern solutions using cutting-edge tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop backend systems with Python, ideally using FastAPI
Design APIs in collaboration with frontend developers
Optimize databases leveraging SQL for storage and retrieval
Use Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration
Integrate and deploy systems in cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services
Collaborate with teams to ensure system architecture aligns with business objectives
Resolve performance bottlenecks and address technical issues
Contribute to code reviews to maintain a clean and efficient codebase
Facilitate the development lifecycle through workflows and pipelines
Document technical aspects of projects and provide input during planning

Requirements

3+ years of experience in backend application development using Python
Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services
Skills in creating user interfaces with ReactJS or Svelte and TypeScript
Competency in workflows involving Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
Expertise in integrating and managing SQL databases
Familiarity with backend languages, such as Golang, is advantageous

Nice to have

Background in automated testing within JavaScript environments
Showcase of experience using tools like Playwright or Selenium for E2E testing
Understanding of platforms such as Backstage for developer workflows
Proficiency in tools focused on code quality, such as SonarQube
Familiarity with CI/CD configurations through GitHub Actions
