We're Hiring: (Python Developer)AI/ML Engineer – Deep Learning & Data Pipelines

Location: Vienna, Austria - Fully Onsite

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in data pipelines, AI/ML-based decision support systems, and deep learning for image data. This role will focus on designing and developing cutting-edge solutions using state-of-the-art AI frameworks, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable data processing pipelines
• Develop AI/ML-based decision support systems
• Build and maintain Python software packages
• Design and implement Deep Learning solutions for image data (e.g., convolutional networks)
• Work with major AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and model formats like ONNX
• Apply software engineering principles to develop reliable, testable code
• Develop and deploy RESTful JSON APIs and components for service-oriented architecture
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate and integrate new technologies
• Communicate clearly with users, analysts, IT security, and other stakeholders

Required Expertise:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
• Data pipeline design and implementation
• AI/ML system development
• Python development
• Deep learning (e.g., CNNs) for image data
• PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX
• Software engineering best practices

Additional Experience:

• Working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or multimodal models
• Using ClearML or similar tools for AI workflow management
• Building real-time object detection/image segmentation models (e.g., YOLO)
• Proficiency in REST API design and deployment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with Git and modern version control practices
• Fast prototyping and experimentation skills
