Job Title: Co-Founder – Geospatial API Platform

Location: Remote (Preferred Netherlands or US-based)

Job Description: As Co-Founder, you will be a key leader driving the technical and strategic direction of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the CEO in identifying market opportunities and defining the best use cases and gaps for our geospatial API. This role requires someone with strong expertise in API development, geospatial technology, and ideally blockchain. You'll collaborate on product development, client acquisition strategies, and help build out a scalable platform that serves emerging needs in AR and crypto-related sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development: Brainstorm with the CEO to identify key market gaps in existing platforms (Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.) and propose innovative solutions to address them.
• API Architecture & Development: Lead the design and technical implementation of the API, ensuring scalability, performance, and ease of integration for developers.
• Geospatial Technology Expertise: Bring deep knowledge in geospatial systems (GIS, 3D mapping, geohashing) to develop advanced features that support AR and blockchain applications.
• Blockchain Integration: (Preferred) Leverage blockchain for features like land minting, proof-of-location, or secure geospatial transactions.
• Technical Leadership: Help build and mentor a technical team to ensure seamless product delivery and foster a culture of innovation.
• Stay on the Cutting Edge: Monitor industry trends in AR, fintech, and blockchain to ensure the platform remains competitive and adaptable.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in API development (preferably in a co-founding or senior technical role).
• Strong expertise in geospatial technologies (GIS, geohashing, 3D mapping, AR location services, etc.).
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its use cases in geospatial contexts (e.g., NFTs, smart contracts, tokenization) is highly preferred.
• Ability to brainstorm strategically, identifying gaps in existing market solutions (like Google Maps and Mapbox).
• Experience with AR applications, crypto transactions, or decentralized platforms is a big plus.
• Passionate about innovation in AR, geospatial tech, and blockchain and eager to lead a growing startup through early stages of product development.
