Machine Learning Engineer, Energy Industry

What We Are Looking For       

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join Advian. Your main responsibility is to develop innovative and intelligent machine learning solutions especially for our energy industry clients. You’ll leverage both internal and external data to build production-grade applications that drive real-world impact.

You have the opportunity to work with large datasets in cloud environments where you'll design, implement, and optimize robust machine learning pipelines. 

  

Long story short     

• Permanent & full-time employment      
• Location: Helsinki metropolitan area or willingness to travel  
• Language skills: Professional communication skills in English   
  
  
  

We would fit each other perfectly if you have:    

• At least 3 years' relevant experience (data engineering, machine learning development etc.)  
• Strong programming skills (at least in Python)  
• Experience of statistical and machine learning methods (e.g. clustering, regression models, time series) 
• Practical experience with production-grade solutions  
• Experience in customer and end-user communication
  
  
  

It is considered a plus if you have any of these:   

• Experience in energy systems or electrical grid 
• Communication skills in Finnish 
• Experience with Azure ML
