Senior AI/ML Engineer - Growing Tech Start-up | Dublin | Permanent (Hybrid, 2-3 Days Onsite)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Dublin City Centre)
Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 base (plus equity & benefits)

We're working with a fast-growing start-up building intelligent systems to tackle complex data challenges across finance, analytics, and risk. Backed by strong funding and a technical founding team, they're applying machine learning to deliver real-time insights that power decision-making for some of the most data-driven industries in the world.

They're now hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer to help scale their machine learning capabilities. You'll work across the full ML lifecycle - from data exploration and model design through to deployment and monitoring - with plenty of autonomy and influence over architecture, tooling, and direction.

Ideal for someone who's technically strong, commercially aware, and excited to help shape a product and team in its growth phase.

• Leading the design, development, and deployment of production-grade ML models

• Working on forecasting, recommendation, optimisation, and classification problems

• Building robust, scalable data pipelines and model training workflows

• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver ML-driven features

• Driving best practices in MLOps, model monitoring, and performance evaluation
  
  

• 5+ years' experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

• Strong Python skills and deep familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Experience deploying models in production environments (bonus if in real-time or low-latency systems)

• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred) and familiarity with ML infrastructure tooling

• Strong communication and stakeholder skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly
  
  

• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or NLP applications

• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, DVC, etc.)

• Background in fintech, insurance, or another data-heavy domain

• Interest in mentoring junior engineers or shaping the AI roadmap
