About the role:

We are looking for a senior full-stack developer to contribute to the maintenance and development of a SaaS-based platform for detecting plagiarism and AI-generated content. In the first months of work, the main tasks will include modernizing the legacy code of the SaaS-based application, updating the user interface, and preparing the codebase for A/B testing. Later on, the role will focus on maintaining and further developing the application: integrating with internal systems and third-party services, implementing a high-availability system, and ensuring security.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of programming experience.
• Excellent proficiency in PHP programming, including both back-end and front-end technologies, strong knowledge of both older and modern versions of the Laravel framework, and advanced database management skills, especially with MySQL.
• Experience in modernizing legacy code and migrating to newer versions, solid understanding of Docker containerization, and knowledge of high availability and security best practices, as well as server configuration and maintenance.
• A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle — including planning, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Ability to work independently, with analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
• A results-oriented and quality-focused mindset, along with accountability and reliability.

• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js / React / Angular.
