🔧 Role Overview

As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development and management of our infrastructure services. Working alongside driven colleagues to support network operations, troubleshoot issues, and steer technical projects to success. We’re looking for a proactive and communicative team player with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for agile network environments.

🗂 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance network infrastructure from a strategic and operational perspective.
• Act as point-of-contact for network-related queries from internal users and teams.
• Lead network troubleshooting, incident management, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with clients to evaluate technology choices and implement solutions.
• Contribute to lifecycle management and automation projects using Agile/Scrum.
• Document configurations, workflows, and network changes clearly and thoroughly.
• Share expertise within the team to support growth and upskilling.

Serve as Day Manager one day per week to oversee:

• Daily network infrastructure operations
• Request handling and prioritization
• Intake and assessment of large change requests

📚 Required Qualifications

• HBO (Bachelor-level) work and thinking capability
• Valid certification: CCNP-ENT, JNCIS-ENT, or equivalent

3+ years of experience with:

• Routers and Switches (Cisco)
• Load balancing technologies (F5)
• Firewall management (Fortinet, Checkpoint)
• Data centre networks in large-scale environments

🌟 Preferred Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of DMZ environments
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI, Infoblox IPAM
• Security-oriented mindset and practices
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Agile/DevOps experience
• F5 Certified Administrator – Big-IP (101 & 102)
