What are you going to do?

Joining Triple as a Backend-focused Fullstack Developer (Golang) means stepping into a key technical role where your deep experience with Go is front and center. You’ll be the go-to backend expert on projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to design, build, and optimize robust, scalable systems. Your primary focus will be Golang, but you’re also confident in either .NET or Node.js, depending on the project’s needs.

From scoping and development to deployment and monitoring, you take ownership of the entire stack. While the backend is your domain, you’re capable of supporting frontend integration when necessary. You’ll dive into running projects with ease, identify what needs to be done, and push forward with a clear view of infrastructure, backend services, databases, APIs, and system behavior.

Beyond coding, you’ll help define architectural direction, contribute to setting technical standards, and ensure your work aligns with the broader vision of our backend competence team.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend services using Golang as your primary language.
• Work with .NET or Node.js as a secondary backend language where applicable.
• Set up and maintain infrastructure, particularly within Azure.
• Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and system health tooling.
• Develop APIs and services that power web and mobile apps.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Mentor team members and help maintain high technical standards.
• Keep up with industry trends and suggest improvements or new tools.
  
  

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a seasoned Golang developer with strong backend expertise and leadership skills. You have deep knowledge of system architecture and cloud infrastructure and are comfortable jumping into complex codebases. You thrive in fast-moving, multidisciplinary environments and know how to balance technical vision with practical business impact.

You’re confident working across the stack but happiest crafting efficient, scalable logic on the backend. You know how to collaborate with clients, validate requirements, and take initiative. Others look to you for guidance, and you’re not afraid to challenge ideas when it improves the outcome.

You are

• An expert in Golang, with professional experience using it in production environments.
• Skilled in either .NET or Node.js, with the flexibility to adapt based on project needs.
• Comfortable with Azure environments, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficient in containerization, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Able to analyze full system performance—hosting, databases, APIs, frontend behavior.
• A quick learner who can onboard into running projects and fix issues independently.
• A strong communicator and collaborator with both clients and internal teams.
• A mentor and leader who helps raise the technical bar.
• Curious, self-driven, and always exploring new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in fullstack or backend development, with strong Golang proficiency.
• Experience with either .NET or Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of Azure, DevOps, and system observability.
• Experience in containerized and distributed environments.
• Understanding of full system architecture.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.
• Located near (or willing to relocate to) Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
