QA Tester - Mobile Application (225-722)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester for Mobile Applications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the intricacies of mobile application testing and a passion for delivering a seamless experience to end-users. You will be responsible for executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of our mobile apps on different platforms. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify issues and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing for mobile applications.
• Perform regression tests to confirm resolved defects do not affect functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile app testing.
• Analyze test results and report on test execution progress and results.
• Ensure mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality assurance.
• Work with UX/UI teams to validate the design and functionality of the app.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies for optimization.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile testing.
• Participate in software release and post-release activities, including support if necessary.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester, specifically for mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Android and iOS operating systems and development.
• Proficient in test automation tools like Appium and Selenium is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and documentation.
