Junior UX/UI Designer (225-722)

Job Description

A Junior UX/UI Designer is responsible for assisting in the creation of visually pleasing and intuitive digital experiences that delight users and meet client specifications. Surrounded by experienced design professionals, the Junior UX/UI Designer is immersed in a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront. This role requires a keen eye for design aesthetics, a deep understanding of user-centered principles, and the technical skills needed to create engaging user interfaces. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product management and development, the Junior UX/UI Designer will craft responsive and dynamic designs that enhance user engagement. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for digital products.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers to brainstorm and refine design concepts.
• Research and analyze user needs to inform design solutions and improve user experiences.
• Work with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Participate in usability testing sessions and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Create high-quality design assets and documentation for use across multiple platforms.
• Maintain design consistency and follow brand guidelines throughout all user interfaces.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and incorporate them into projects when appropriate.
• Prepare and present design proposals and updates to project stakeholders and teams.
• Adapt to feedback and flexible design changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the design team in various tasks as directed by senior designers.
• Contribute to the overall innovation and creativity of the design projects.
  
  

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
• Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus for interactive design applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate design concepts.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing design projects or coursework that demonstrate design skills.
