Role Overview

Stellar Technologies is looking for a UI/UX Designer with 6 years of experience in designing scalable, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to translate product requirements into elegant and intuitive experiences. Experience in healthcare design systems and workflows is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design of web and mobile user interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and user experience.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly illustrate design ideas and intent.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—product owners, developers, and QA—to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG, HIPAA, UAE PDPL).
  • Design interfaces that are optimized for performance, cross-platform functionality, and visual coherence.
  • Contribute to UI/UX documentation, component libraries, and style guides for product consistency.

Must-Have Skills

  • 6 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms.
  • Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Expertise in responsive design, mobile-first principles, and adaptive layouts.
  • Deep understanding of usability heuristics, user-centered design processes, and design thinking.
  • Experience with tools for user research, journey mapping, and interaction design.
  • Ability to present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.

Good-to-Have (Healthcare Advantage)

  • Experience designing healthcare applications (EHR/EMR, patient portals, clinical dashboards).
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or Malaffi, NABIDH, Riayati integration design requirements.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy and compliance (HIPAA, UAE PDPL).
  • Prior work involving data visualization, forms-based workflows, and role-based access UI.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Portfolio showcasing live projects or prototypes in both web and mobile domains is mandatory.
