Front End Developer (ReactJS)

The Opportunity

They’re looking to add both Intermediate and Senior Full Stack Developers to their growing engineering team. You’ll help design, build, and scale critical features across their platform — from clean, responsive front-end experiences to robust backend services and APIs. You’ll be a key part of the team shaping how users interact with the product and how systems scale behind the scenes.

The ideal candidate is fluent in React and Node.js, understands full stack architecture, and thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments. Senior candidates will also play a technical leadership role, driving architectural decisions, mentoring others, and leading complex initiatives across the stack.

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and improve scalable full stack web applications using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Develop responsive, accessible, and reusable front-end components aligned with design and UX best practices
• Design, consume, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work closely with design, product, and other engineers to ship end-to-end features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (Jest, Cypress, Mocha)
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack — performance, bugs, deployment
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team retrospectives
• Senior only: Lead technical projects, provide architectural input, and mentor junior developers

What You Bring

For Intermediate Developers:

• 3–5 years of full stack experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML/CSS
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and Express
• Comfort working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and contribute to team decisions

For Senior Developers:

• 5+ years of professional full stack development
• Proven track record of owning features from concept to deployment
• Deep experience with full stack architecture, API design, and scalable systems
• Strong mentoring and code review skills
• Comfortable leading technical discussions and helping steer engineering direction

Nice-to-Haves

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Cognito, EventBridge, Step Functions)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Previous experience in fintech or highly regulated industries
• UX sensibility and exposure to tools like Figma
