We are looking for a Project Manager/Business Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Position is available as on-site location. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.
Role Description
We are seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who also possesses strong business analyst skills. The ideal candidate will be looking for a dual role where they can lead projects and support business analysis requirements as needed. This role requires someone with a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data to make informed decisions. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and support the business analysis function where necessary. Required Skills and Experience
- 6-7 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst
- Azure Experience/Security Project Experience is mandatory
- PMP/CAPM and/or Business Analyst training and certification are a strong asset
- A strong IT background with experience working on Security and Infrastructure specific projects is desired.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification is a strong asset
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera or equivalent (2+ years)
- Experience with SDLC best practices.
- Working knowledge of PM best practices
- Ability to understand complex processes and complex business rules.
- Ability to translate technical processes into business language.
- Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design.
- Proven testing skills and techniques
- Proven documentation skills
- Proven communication and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to function within a high level of activity (working with deadlines on several concurrent initiatives).
- Experience writing and maintaining test strategies and test plans.
