Software Engineer, Android (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver a world-class mobile experience
• Contribute 80-90% of your time to hands-on coding, ensuring clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Lead large-scale technical projects, anticipating infrastructure needs and making key architectural decisions
• Serve as a mentor to junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering growth
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advocate for the adoption of new tools and best practices
• Participate in the entire agile development cycle from ideation to deployment
• Troubleshoot complex challenges, offer scalable solutions, and support a culture of high-quality engineering
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android product development with a strong grasp of Kotlin and app architecture best practices
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and design patterns like MVVM or MVC
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (unit and UI), Android frameworks, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
• Familiarity with app submission, signing, and store guidelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset
• Curiosity, flexibility, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
• Bonus points for experience with Jetpack Compose, Android's Health Connect, Kotlin Multiplatform, or work in regulated industries like healthcare

• Colorado: $140,800 - $176,000 (other states may vary)
