Job Title: Gameplay Software Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Join a fast-paced, creative team building world-class VR game experiences! Our client is seeking a Gameplay Software Engineer to assist in expanding and optimizing a high-impact VR title. You’ll own critical parts of the codebase and deliver highly performant features across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Implement new gameplay features and platform integrations in Unity.

Maintain and improve performance, stability, and code quality.

Own and optimize major systems within the game loop and beyond.

Collaborate cross-functionally in a diverse and agile team environment.

Build immersive and performant VR/AR experiences using cutting-edge tech.

Must-Have Qualifications

2–4 years of professional game development experience.

Proficiency in C# and object-oriented/component-based design.

Hands-on experience with Unity, including:

Asset bundles

Shaders

Particle systems

Editor tool development

Experience across the full product development lifecycle.

Ability to write clean, modular, testable code with strong documentation habits.

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Working knowledge of 3D math and physics systems.

Experience developing for current-generation gaming platforms (console, mobile, or VR).

Familiarity with version control systems and build pipelines.

Strong communication and time-management skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
