Network Administrator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Administrator in Golden, CO. Summary: The Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure across multiple office and distribution locations. This role includes supporting daily operations, troubleshooting performance issues, ensuring security compliance, and contributing to infrastructure upgrades. You'll work closely with the IT team to deliver fast, secure connectivity that supports both business and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and monitor LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and VPNs
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, routers, and switches
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.
• Maintain network segmentation, VLANs, and quality-of-service policies
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce best practices
• Ensure up-time and security of voice and data communication systems
• Respond to and resolve escalated network issues and outages
• Support and document network disaster recovery and failover procedures
• Assist with server and cloud network integrations (Azure, O365, etc.)
• Participate in planning and implementation of new network projects and upgrades
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a Network Administrator or similar role
• Proficiency with Cisco networking gear and Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security
• Experience with network monitoring, intrusion detection, and performance tools
• Ability to manage wireless networks, remote access (VPN), and cloud connectivity
• Familiarity with Windows-based and hybrid network environments
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Networking, or related field
• CCNA, CCNP, or PCNSA certification
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Familiarity with Azure networking, SD-WAN, or VoIP systems
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
