👨💻 The Role: Software Engineering Manager
Lead the acceleration of the product roadmap while maintaining quality and reliability. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on PHP development, team management, and technical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable PHP applications
- Champion best practices in code quality, reviews, CI/CD, and testing
- Improve team velocity and streamline development workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and stakeholders
- Architect complex features and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Stay up-to-date with PHP ecosystem trends
🧠 What You’ll Bring
- Extensive PHP experience (ideally with frameworks like CodeIgniter)
- Proven leadership in software development teams
- Strong grasp of engineering principles, design patterns, and architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Skilled in MySQL, Git, and RESTful API development
- Front-end experience with Vue, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
