Local Division Manager, MOSE

Your Role And Responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Manager at ABB Motion Services. Our service division consists of 150 professionals across the country. Motion Services division has the leading expertise in drives, motors and generators life cycle management.

Project Manager’s target is to walk through our Motors and Generators workshop processes, create a development plan from learnings and execute the plan within a fixed 18-month timeline. You will be reporting to the Local Division Manager and working closely with our Motors and Generators Operations team. We are looking for a candidate with solid project experience and the motivation to be committed to tasks and ensure they are carried out efficiently. In your application, please highlight the most important projects you have managed. Work requires regular presence in our Helsinki office.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

• Setting targets such as visible and measurable profitability goals as a project outcome
• Demonstrating how process improvements lead to financial benefits
• Managing project execution including documentation, timeline, and costs
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring successful closure
• Communication and stakeholder management
• Project risk management
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Over 10 years of work experience in workshops, industrial settings, or similar environments
• Experience in processes, preferably within workshop environment
• Communication skills at a leadership level
• Demonstrated change management skills
• Business acumen and good judgement skills
• Ability to lead through empowerment, even without direct reports
• Capable of independently building financial scenarios with support from our Business Controller
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
