Frontend Engineer - Working Student (all genders)

koppla is building the go-to scheduling tool for construction projects. By providing an incredibly simple to use scheduling tool that makes collaboration easy, we help construction projects stay on time.

We are looking for a working student wanting to become product-minded working student* in our frontend department that helps us build new features for our growing customer base.

Compensation: €18-25/h + Equity

Location: Hybrid setup in Berlin

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to build and improve features for our scheduling tool.
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for writing clean, maintainable code.
• Take ownership of smaller projects and tasks that directly impact our customers.
• Build frontend features using Vue.js, TypeScript, and other modern technologies.
  
  

Stack: Vue.js, TypeScript, Vite, GraphQL (Apollo), WebSockets, Playwright. You should be familiar with some of these or similar technologies.

Who We're Looking For

This role is perfect for a computer science student looking to join a product company and get first hands-on experience building product. You are likely a great fit, if:

• You have a solid understanding of frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and are eager to learn modern frameworks like Vue.js.
• You’re passionate about creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and care about delivering a great user experience.
• You’re excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment, where you’ll learn quickly and make meaningful contributions.
• You enjoy collaborating with teammates, asking questions, and improving through feedback.
• You’re proactive, curious, and solution-oriented, with a willingness to tackle challenges (with team support).
• You can commit to working 16-20 hours per week alongside your studies.
• You have to be enrolled at a German university as a full-time student (Must have).
