ML/AI Software Engineer (f/m/d) for Electromagnetic Engineering

As a ML/AI Software Engineer (f/m/d) for Electromagnetic Engineering you will be part of the Electromagnetics 3DEXPERIENCE R&D team, which delivers electromagnetic simulation solutions for Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You will develop and enhance software infrastructure for ML/AI based content and workflows for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The position can be located in Darmstadt or in Munich.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for drafting solutions and providing reusable components which can be deployed on cloud and on premise
• Work with application engineers and domain experts to develop new and enhance existing neural network architectures for computational electromagnetics
• Collaborate will colleagues in the field of computational electromagnetics
• Implement and maintain unit tests as well as integration tests
• Define acceptance tests
  
  

Qualifications

• PhD degree (or Masters with equivalent expertise) in engineering, physics, computer science or equivalent with strong focus on software engineering
• Profound knowledge in machine learning for scientific computing: ML architectures, data preparation, training, transfer learning, etc.
• Hands on experience with well known ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX, or equivalent
• Familiar with tools such as version control systems (git), bug trackers and IDEs
• Follow established software engineering processes such as agile development
• Experience in numerical simulations is a plus
