A well-established technology services firm is looking for a Network & Security Engineer to deliver high-quality Cisco infrastructure solutions on a long-term engagement with a major financial institution. This is a client-facing, on-site role (5 days/week) based in Dublin City Centre, working across a broad spectrum of Routing, Switching, and Security technologies.

You'll be focused on design, implementation, and light-touch support, working as part of a dedicated engineering team embedded within the customer environment. The partnership spans 9 years and counting — stability, depth, and long-term planning are the name of the game here.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing Cisco-based network and security infrastructure
• Working on routing, switching, and firewall projects within a high-availability enterprise environment
• Providing support and operational input as needed, while maintaining strong documentation
• Collaborating with internal and client stakeholders on upcoming infrastructure roadmaps
• Acting as the on-the-ground expert for all things Cisco within a secure and professional financial setting.

🧠 What You’ll Need:

• Strong Cisco Routing & Switching skills – confident across Layer 2 and Layer 3
• Experience with Cisco Firewalls (ASA or Firepower preferred)
• CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent hands-on experience
• Solid understanding of network security principles and implementation best practices
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders professionally
• Comfortable working fully on-site, 5 days a week in a structured and secure environment

📍 The Offer:

• €50,000–€65,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Based on-site with a Tier 1 financial institution in Dublin City Centre
