Data Delivery Manager

As a Data Delivery Manager, you will leverage your data-driven mindset and passion for people in a multi-faceted role.

Bringing delivery expertise and deep knowledge of the Data & Analytics domain, you will collaborate with globally renowned, award-winning development and technology teams passionate about their craft.

In this role, you will foster strong business-technology relationships and take a hands-on approach to driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solutions delivery on the assigned account(s)
  • Assure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per the selected delivery model
  • Act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery-related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp-downs, etc.
  • Ensure proper staffing and technical leadership to meet delivery goals
  • Be accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery, ensuring that future-proof architecture meets the quality technical standards
  • Coordinate between multiple disciplines and stakeholders
  • Establish and manage long-term client partnerships, addressing and managing issues and risks
  • Coordinate the preparation of the client proposals and statements of work
  • Ensure projects align with EPAM processes and methodologies, emphasizing Agile approaches
  • Build up delivery plans, including estimations on timeframes and resources required
  • Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Support sales activities by providing technical and management expertise
  • Uphold EPAM delivery standards while driving best-in-class solutions
  • Manage team performance using KPIs for delivery, local Data Practice growth and technology proficiency

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in delivering projects in Data & Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence, familiar with relevant technological solutions and industry best practices
  • Background in data platform engineering, including batch and streaming, ingestion, storage, processing, integration and consumption
  • Familiar with multiple Data & Analytics solutions, tools and best practices, including Python, data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning and data modeling
  • Expertise with AWS or Azure and leading on-prem-to-cloud migration projects, with an understanding of data security challenges
  • Proven ability to gather client requirements and execute large-scale technical projects from initiation to delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, along with software development lifecycles

Salary range €5.2K-€7.2K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
