We are looking:

We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking DevOps Manager to join our startup as the first DevOps hire. In this high-impact role, you’ll be hands-on in building our infrastructure from the ground up, while also laying the foundation for a future DevOps team. You’ll lead the transition from an incubator-hosted environment to a fully self-managed, scalable, and secure cloud setup — with a clear path to grow into a leadership position overseeing DevOps and infrastructure as we scale.

Get Ready To:

• Define and lead the company’s DevOps strategy, tooling, and roadmap
• Design and build secure, scalable AWS-based cloud infrastructure
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes (GitLab)
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability systems (e.g., DataDog)
• Establish best practices around security, cost optimization, and operations
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape DevOps culture and standards
• Take full ownership of incident response, reliability, and infrastructure uptime

We Expect You To:

• Be fully autonomous in managing DevOps initiatives from strategy to hands-on implementation
• Bring deep experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform/OpenTofu
• Apply a strong understanding of security, automation, and operational excellence
• Have a proven track record of building production infrastructure in startup or high-growth environments
• Collaborate effectively with leadership, product, and engineering teams
• Be capable of hiring, mentoring, and leading DevOps engineers as the team expands
• Be fluent in both English and Lithuanian.

• Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab (self-managed), standardized pipelines, cloud-native buildpacks
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch)
• Infrastructure as Code: OpenTofu (Terraform)
• Monitoring & Logging: DataDog (or a similar observability platform)
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker

Salary

Gross salary range is 4500 - 7500 EUR/month.

*Salary is negotiable depending on experience
