Senior Backend Engineer - NodeJS

What would be your role?

• Contribute to the development of strong backend systems using Node.js in a cloud-native environment.
• Design and implement secure, scalable system architecture, including microservices-based solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and apply strong quality assurance practices, including testing and CI/CD workflows.
• Develop and manage data operations using MongoDB, ensuring performance and stability.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers in a highly collaborative development setting.
• Optimize performance and reliability of backend services for real-time applications.
• Stay current with backend engineering best practices, contributing to continuous improvement.

What we are ideally looking for

• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong expertise in Node.js.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience designing scalable systems using microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with QA practices, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and proven experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken)

The salary range for this position is €55,000 - €65,000 Annual Gross + Benefits
