About this opportunity:

Our PEU CCI (RAN Compute & Cloud Infrastructure) is one of the main R&D units within Ericsson’s Radio Access Network domain. The unit is accountable for Ericsson products, including Baseband, Street Macro and Site solutions, both for SW and HW, over the full lifecycle. CCI is a competence center for common design functions (e.g. digital ASIC and FPGA, PCB layout, power, mechanics, thermal, interconnect, synchronization, security, packaging, material development) and tools. At R&D Center Poland we develop SW system and design solutions for baseband, interconnect, security and site products. We address telecommunication business needs from around the globe by delivering innovative software (e.g. 5G functionalities) meeting the highest telco quality.

Currently we are expanding our department and we are looking for an C++ developer to work with maintenance work in LTE/5G projects.

What you will do:

• Troubleshooting of code issues reported internally and externally, performing analysis and delivery of the solution including testing/FST
• Trouble report handling with close TR Coordinators/Customer Units cooperation
• Maintaining the code quality of the ERC > RRC product together with RRC Core team
• Code refactoring and adding new improvements/Product Cares to the product
• Develop new tools/automations to improve and reduce the time to find a fault
• Create technical documentation for introduced software changes
• Collaborate with colleagues in similar positions throughout Ericsson and partner organizations
• Work in Agile framework (Scrum), projects managed in JIRA
  
  

You will bring:

• Education in Technical Fields (Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of C/C++ programming
• Testing skills/frameworks knowledge – e.g. GTEST
• Good familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
• Linux knowledge
• Advanced communication in English (min B2)
• Problem solving and analytical skills
  
  

Nice to have, but not a must:

• Experience in Telecommunication Technology
• Knowledge of Multi-core/Multithreading processor programming and memory management
• BASH, JAVA
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and tools
  
  

We work in a hybrid model - 3 days from the office and 2 days from home weekly.
