Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer. In the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering organization, you will collaborate with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Platforms and Interfaces to enable efficient application and service development built on our Cloud Infrastructure.

As part of a client-focused engineering team, you will work closely with our clients to address feature requests and resolve issues promptly. You will focus on developing capabilities that simplify the lifecycle management of applications, games, or services operating on our cloud infrastructure. Collaboration with diverse teams across the globe will be essential to enhance both Cloud Infrastructure and the Developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Cloud Team responsible for EKS services, Cloud Platform provisioning, lifecycle management, and certificate monitoring
• Develop high-quality, robust code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs
• Provide support to customers as part of the rotating support schedule
• Write and share High-Level Designs and developer documentation
• Solve challenges across all technology stack layers
• Participate in bottom-up planning around release schedules, workload, and priorities
• Prioritize privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience in web services and infrastructure designs
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Golang (test task completion is required)
• Proficiency in working with AWS, especially provisioning, IAM roles, and account management
• Familiarity with Kubernetes solutions, particularly EKS
• Skills in using Terraform, Git, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Understanding of networking concepts, with particular focus on AWS networking
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
