Job Title: Senior Android Software Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Work Model: Hybrid (2 Days/Week from Warsaw, Poland Office & 3 Days/Week - Remote)

Overview:

• We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join the Android team
• This role involves developing and maintaining the client’s app across Mobile Android TV and Fire TV platforms

Must have requirements:

• Proficiency in Modern Android Development MAD best practices
• Proven experience in developing and shipping at least one Android application to the Play Store with ongoing maintenance
• Strong knowledge of the Android View System and Jetpack Compose
• Hands on experience with background services Work Manager and Kotlin Coroutines and Flows
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams with working hours overlapping with Pacific Time 8AM 12PM PT
• Proven experience collaborating with product management to define and implement Android feature specifications including contributing to business cases requirements documentation and product roadmaps
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Nice to have requirements
• Experience implementing accessibility A11Y features on Android
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and Android UI tests using Espresso
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies such as HLS MPEGDASH and Widevine DRM
• Experience working with ExoPlayer
• Experience developing for Android TV and Amazon Fire TV
• Knowledge of RxJava
