Group Product Manager - Decentralized Finance

Our client is seeking a talented Group Product Manager to lead the development and execution of a debt management platform within their cutting-edge financial technology company. This role involves operating at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized technologies, ensuring the delivery of innovative, compliant, and scalable financial products. You'll also support the Chief Product Officer in developing a Web3 protocol. This position requires extensive expertise in financial services, big data, and asset management, with a particular focus on private credit and structured debt products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire product management lifecycle for the debt management platform
• Support the Chief Product Officer in overseeing the build of a new Web3 credit protocol
• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with various teams
• Drive the execution of product initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals
• Prioritize product features, considering technical feasibility, business impact, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
• Collaborate with financial specialists, investors, and legal teams to ensure compliance and optimal product structure
• Define and monitor product metrics to assess performance and guide decisions
• Oversee product release plans and manage post-launch iterations
• Engage with users to gather insights and refine product offerings
• Ensure the seamless integration of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) elements into the product

Specialist Skills

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and GitHub.

• Hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle
• In-depth understanding of distributed computing, blockchain, and smart contract technologies
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and decentralized applications
• Knowledge of legal, tax, and regulatory considerations in private asset structuring
• Strong understanding of capital markets, private debt, and sustainable investment products
  
  

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Computer Science); strong quantitative and qualitative skills are a must.

• CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred
• Product Management certification (e.g., CPM, AIPMM) is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in credit and alternative investments
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring product teams, including direct people management
• Experience in asset management and fund structuring for private assets, including legal and tax considerations
• Familiarity with compliance requirements for cross-border fund flows and product jurisdictions
• Experience working in agile, high-growth, and tech-driven environments, ideally with exposure to blockchain or DeFi ecosystems
