Genesis10 is seeking a Data & BI Analyst for a 12 month contract position with our client. This is a Hybrid position and can be located in either Sunnyvale (preferred) or San Francisco (2+ days/week, flexible on days). The hourly pay rate range for this position is $57.50 - $69.67. MUST have advanced SQL and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data-driven recommendations and insights to support strategic projects across Member Customer Success
  • Understand the business, track operational performance, provide insights and recommendations
  • Support company-wide programs through ownership of analytical projects
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Global Operations teams and cross-functional partners (sales leadership, finance, sales operations, systems) to achieve objectives
  • Build dashboards and automated reports, working proficiently with data visualization and querying/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python)
  • Own data tables, and work with stakeholders to ensure available data is accurate, consistent, and timely
  • Own technical implementations and documentation associated with datasets and strive for 100% accuracy
  • Possibility to learn & implement advanced analytics tools for optimization (e.g., Cloud hosting, Job automation, Artificial Intelligence techniques, Natural Language generation)

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a quantitative discipline
  • 2+ years of experience working with data in a business setting, including data management, process execution, operations, reporting, or analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills a MUST (SQL assessment will be part of the intervoew process)
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives
  • Experience with manipulating massive-scale structured and unstructured data
  • Experience creating and maintaining business-critical data warehouse tables using SQL
  • Experience with distributed data systems such as Hadoop and related technologies (Spark, Presto, Pig, Hive, etc.)
  • Background in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript)
