Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and work directly with startup engineering teams, CTOs, and account teams. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will operate and improve production infrastructure on AWS across multiple environments. As a Professional Services company, we work directly with customers in their environments, combining hands-on engineering with communication and decision-making.

The role is focused on solving real production problems, from debugging incidents and stabilizing systems to designing and implementing scalable infrastructure. This is not a purely internal or support role, it’s about taking ownership and making systems work under real conditions.

• Take ownership of AWS environments across multiple projects, from troubleshooting production issues to designing scalable architectures
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines across different tech stacks and teams
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform, with CloudFormation or CDK
• Maintain and improve environments from development to production
• Handle infrastructure, networking, and performance issues end-to-end
• Work directly with client engineers and stakeholders, explain trade-offs, and drive technical decisions
• Apply security best practices and ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with DevOps Engineers, Solution Architects, and Account Managers to move projects from problem to production
• Operate in a fast-paced, project-based environment with multiple customer engagements

• 5+ years of working experience in a DevOps role with AWS infrastructures
• Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• CI experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
• Scripting skills with either Bash, Python
• Deep Linux OS knowledge
• Network troubleshooting and configuration skills (DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Understanding of SDLC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A team player mindset, innovative, passion for learning new tools, systems, and best practices, and a desire to propose your ideas and initiatives
• Experience with Agentic AI IDEs (Cursor, Kiro, etc.)
• Solid communication skills
• Experience with AWS CDK and Pulumi (TypeScript/Python) is a plus
• Experience with managed LLM platforms (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure OpenAI Service) is a plus.

• You independently own and operate AWS environments for multiple customers, handling both day-to-day reliability and longer-term improvements
• You are comfortable jumping into unfamiliar systems, identifying issues quickly, and driving them to resolution
• Customers trust your technical judgment and rely on you for infrastructure decisions and problem solving
• You contribute to improving infrastructure standards, reusable patterns, or internal best practices
• You work effectively across multiple engagements without losing quality or ownership
• You collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, helping move projects from issue to stable production systems
