Back End Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience building scalable backend systems and APIs, and be proficient in Golang, Python, MySQL, and AWS cloud services.

This is a hands-on role involving architecture, development, and maintenance of robust and high-performance backend systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems and REST APIs using Golang, Python, MySQL, and AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose scalable, secure backend solutions
• Own and deliver assigned tasks within set timelines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Participate in the on-call rotation and handle production incidents to ensure system uptime and performance
• Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM) to build scalable and cost-effective solutions
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best engineering practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and development methodologies

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Golang in production environments
• Strong experience in Python and MySQL database management
• Solid understanding of AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
• Expertise in building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, agile startup environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
