About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our client's dynamic team based in Norwich, with the flexibility of remote work. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who is passionate about building scalable, efficient, and innovative data-driven platforms. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the redevelopment of the company's core data platform, which processes large volumes of real-time environmental data. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and intuitive front-end interfaces that facilitate seamless data visualization and external integrations. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with PHP and Laravel, demonstrating a strong understanding of building and maintaining scalable web applications. Prior experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks is essential for creating interactive and user-friendly interfaces. A solid background in MySQL or other relational databases is required for efficient data management. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Linux and AWS cloud services, will be advantageous. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the company's core data platform utilizing Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Implement and optimize data ingestion pipelines that process large volumes of real-time environmental data efficiently and reliably.

Create intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces that enable users to visualize and interpret complex datasets easily.

Develop and maintain robust APIs to facilitate external integrations with third-party systems and applications.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Own the documentation of system architecture, codebase, and deployment processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high-quality standards.
