🚀 Lead Azure DevOps Engineer | UK Remote

Location: UK Remote (once a month travel to the office)

We’re working with a well-established, award-winning UK software company that is scaling its Azure-native SaaS platform and seeking a hands-on DevOps Lead to guide their engineering teams in best practices, platform design, and automation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking tech business driving innovation across cloud-native technologies, DevOps automation, and infrastructure-as-code. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, security and operations teams - playing a critical role in shaping scalable, secure services used across high-impact industries.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading DevOps practice across engineering teams, driving quality and scalability
• Designing and implementing patterns aligned to the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework
• Building Terraform modules and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Collaborating with architects on new prototypes and platform design
• Supporting cloud cost optimisation, performance testing, and DR readiness
• Working across functions to ensure services are secure, reliable and automated

☁️ You’ll Bring:

• 8+ years of hands-on Azure experience
• Deep understanding of cloud services like AKS, API Management, App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, and Networking
• Strong IaC skills – particularly Terraform, plus experience with HELM, Flux or similar GitOps tools
• Proven CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Scripting in PowerShell / Azure CLI
• A collaborative mindset and desire to mentor others in cloud/DevOps best practice
