Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer – Linux / AI & ML Support

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems and AI/ML support infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in virtualization, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. The role will be based onsite in Vienna and offers a long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup, manage, and optimize Linux systems infrastructure.

Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and manage containerized environments.

Support AI/ML applications and manage GPU infrastructure.

Configure and maintain hypervisors including VMware, Proxmox, KVM, and QEMU.

Implement and manage software-defined storage, especially CEPH.

Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security across infrastructure platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

Expert-level knowledge in:

Linux systems setup, operations, and performance tuning.

Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.

Hypervisor architecture and virtualization tools.

AI/ML environment support and GPU resource management.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Virtualization platforms: VMware, Proxmox, KVM, QEMU.

Software-defined storage systems: CEPH.

Infrastructure automation tools: Ansible, Terraform.

AI/ML infrastructure deployment and tuning.

Good understanding of:

Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System).

Hyperconverged infrastructure and fabric interconnects.

NetApp storage administration.

Windows server administration.

Hybrid cloud environments and cloud services integration.

Additional Notes:

This is a client-facing position; strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Austria or willing to relocate.
