Software Architect

To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for an experienced Software Architect with strong leadership and communication skills to join our team. You will play a key part in guiding technical teams and collaborating with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

In this role, you will have real ownership and influence over architectural decisions. You will be able to shape the future architecture from a legacy system — it's already evolving, but you have a unique opportunity to guide and drive it with a strong hand. You will work with a technically complex system that includes everything — legacy components, new modules, emerging technologies, and challenging decisions. You'll be part of the leadership team and collaborate with a cross-team architectural board alongside experienced architects and tech leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with tech leads to design and implement sustainable software architecture.
• Organize and oversee development processes to ensure long-term maintainability and quality.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Empower development team, create clarity in architecture decision-making process.
• Make strategic architectural decisions that align with project and business goals. Be concise.
• Foster effective teamwork within the development team to ensure smooth project execution.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Software Architect or similar role.
• Proficiency in Estonian and English.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and development teams.
• Experience with leading technical decision-making.
• Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
• Strong background in software development with experience in Java, Angular, Oracle, and PostgreSQL is beneficial.
