Job Description

Join our experienced team in Espoo, Finland, and gain valuable experience in developing and optimizing NLP and LLM models, curating and training data pipelines, and experimenting with cutting-edge AI technologies to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and collaborate with a global team of professionals.

Position: Data Science Trainee

Duration: 3 Months (with option to extend)

Date: Late August to the end of November, 2025

Location: Hybrid in Espoo, Finland

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient models for NLP/LLM systems
  • Optimize existing pipelines for curation, training, and evaluation efficiency
  • Conduct experiments and prototype new ideas to advance our AI models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Prepare and present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key Skills And Experience

  • Currently a candidate for a Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with an accredited school in Finland
  • Experience in data science, specifically with NLP, search, recsys (either one is fine)
  • Proficiency in ML/NLP frameworks such as HuggingFace, Spacy, NLTK, etc
  • Experience with data curation, model training, benchmark evaluations, etc. for NLP/LLM models
  • Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
